The cover of Molecular Human Reproduction shows Creatine kinase and Caspase-3 double immunostained mature human sperm, attached to hyaluronic acid (HA) coated slides. Because HA-bound sperm have completed plasma membrane remodeling and cellular maturation, there is no appreciable creatine kinase (cytoplasmic retention) or caspase-3 staining detectable. The non-specific FITC green color well highlights the acrosomal cup, head, midpiece and tail of sperm.
