In normal Igf2-H19 imprinting, (A) the maternal Igf2 is turned off by the interaction of the Igf2 unmethylated DMR1 and the ‘off-switch’ [unmethylated DNA, CCCTCbinding factor (CTCF), methyl Lys4-H3 and other factors]. The maternal H19 is activated by the enhancer.
