The cover image shows Expression of SERCA 2 during spermatogenesis. Testicular human tissues were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde solution and embedded in paraffin. About 5 µm-thick sections were used for immunohistochemistry using the SERCA 2 polyclonal antibody (N-19). SERCA 2 expression begins at the primary spermatocyte stage (A; × 100) and a more intense signal is observed in spermatids (C; × 400). No signal was observed when commercial goat IgG was used as a negative control (B; × 100, D; × 400). The experiment was carried out on testis sections from three different donors.
