Cover design  Inducible NOS expression during implantation The cover of Molecular Human Reproduction shows labelling for inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) at a day 8 mouse implantation site. iNOS staining is observed in the ectoplacental core (EC) and in the decidua (arrows) surrounding the embryo (E). The increased expression of inducible and endothelial NOS following implantation may be important for tissue remodelling, immunosuppression and vasoregulation. For further details, see pages 467-475.
