Cover design  Translocation t(11;22) diagnosis. The cover of Molecular Human Reproduction shows the strategy used for preimplantation genetic diagnosis of the most common reciprocal translocation, t(11;22) (q25;q12). The coloured circles indicate the location of the probes at the chromosome 11 centromere (yellow); at 22q11 (red) and at 22q13 (green). Results of FISH on metaphase chromosomes from a translocation carrier are shown in the lower panel. For more information on the diagnosis of embryos with unbalanced translocations see pages 682-689.
