Cover design Exogenous DNA transmission by ICSI The cover of Molecular Human Reproduction shows the transfer of exogenous DNA to Rhesus monkey embryos by intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) of plasmid bound spermatozoa (upper panel). The plasmid encoding green fluorescent protein (GFP) was tagged with rhodamine for tracing the DNA in the oocyte (left lower panel). Expression of GFP was observed from the 4-cell embryo to the blastocyst stage (right lower panel) but not observed in the healthy offspring. For further details, see 26-33.
