Cover design The cover of Molecular Human Reproduction shows the immunostaining for transient receptor potential channel (TrpC) proteins in human myometrial smooth muscle (HMSM) cells. Positive staining for TrpC1, TrpC3, TrpC4 and TrpC6 as well as the negative controls are shown. Assemblies of the TrpC proteins are likely to be involved in store-operated calcium entry, and potentially contribute to the calcium signalling and contractile activity of myometrial cells during labour.
