Cover design The front cover of Molecular Human Reproduction shows the exon structure of four DAZ gene copies in the GenBank RPCI-11 AZFc-BAC contig. A DAZ gene copy specific deletion analysis based on these sequences was developed. It included the deletion analysis of DAZ single nucleotide variants (SNVs; orange arrows, black letters), DAZ sequence tagged sites (STS; orange arrows, blue letters) and gene copy specific EcoRV and TaqI restriction fragments (red and blue markings). DAZ1/DAZ2 gene deletions were found specifically in 8% of oligozoospermic patients. For further details, please see 286-298.
