Cover design The front cover of Molecular Human Reproduction shows the spectral karyotypes of a polar body metaphase (above with balanced predivision of all chromatids except for chromosomes 8, 11, 13, 16, 20 and 22) and an oocyte metaphase (below with an extra chromatid 22 and balanced predivision for chromosome 19). The study was performed on fresh oocytes and supports a role for predivision of chromatids in the generation of aneuploidy. For further information see pages 580-585.
